SONEXsuper™ Wedges

Laboratories and engineering test cells often require a sound environment that is completely free of reverberation throughout the audible frequency spectrum from low frequency to high frequency This environment allows measurement of radiated sound power and directivity.

Designed to be used in situations where low-frequency issues are a problem, SONEXsuper Wedges are most often found in anechoic test chambers. These 12x12 wedges are 6 inches thick and feature an exaggerated, yet symmetrical, anechoic wedge pattern.

SONEXsuper™ Wedges

SONEXsuper Wedges can dramatically improve the accuracy of sound measurements by eliminating bounce-back sounds such as echo, feedback and resonances.

SONEXsuper Wedges provide maximum sound absorption in test cells and anechoic chambers. For turn-key anechoic environments, illbruck's SONEXmaps (Modulor Anechoic Panel System) provides a complete chamber that includes single or double walls and replaceable wedge tips.
